Meggan Gomez, Theater Conservatory Director, studied acting in the BFA program at Montclair State University School of the Arts before completing her degree at Excelsior College. She completed institute residencies with Cornerstone Theatre Company in Los Angeles and La Universidad Nacional de Colombia/Hemispheric Institute of Performance & Politics, as well as a year long apprenticeship at Touchstone Theatre and most recently a Moments Work training lab at Tectonic Theater Project. As an educator, she taught theater at the Arts Academy Charter School in Allentown, PA and Touchstone Theatre in Bethlehem, PA. Her acting credits include productions at Abrons Arts Center and Theater for the New City in New York, Civic Theatre of Allentown, Touchstone Theatre and Allentown Academy of the Arts in Pennsylvania. She is responsible for student recruitment, student mentoring and teaching the introductory level program component, including improvisation, street performance and clowning workshops.
