College Prep Resources


      The CCCP Fellowship is a 2-year fellowship for current 11th graders who are interested in a creative career and in pursuing a college education. The Fellowship will run from September 22, 2015 through July 2017. Students who participate in the Fellowship will receive college prep and career coaching, as well as opportunities for creative career professional development and a variety of paid internships. Upon completion of the program, and to assist with making the goal of college attendance a reality, students will receive a $4,000 education award. Please read the following benefits and commitments of the program to ensure that this program is right for you.


Benefits of Fellowship:

  • Free tuition to all Working Classroom Workshops during the 2 year fellowship
  • Visual Art/Theater training and paid experience
  • SAT/ACT Prep
  • Academic tutoring and support
  • College application and college essay coaching
  • College level writing support
  • $4,000 education fund—stipend for fellowship
  • Mentorship College Visits
  • Fundraising support
  • Family outreach and support for college process
  • Ongoing support through college to ensure success


Fellowship Commitments:

  • 2-year commitment (11th & 12th grade years)
  • Art or Theater Workshops during school year and during Summer 2016 and 2017
  • Attendance at office hours/academic support (At least 5 per semester—individual basis )
  • Commitment to saving $1000 over 2 years and financial education and planning
  • Commitment to participating in weekly academic workshops and assignments: researching and filling out scholarships and financial aid, researching colleges and careers, College essay writing, tutoring, SAT/ACT Prep and exams
  • College visits
  • Participation in Fundraisers to help finance college visits
  • Attendance at Community Events

Working Classroom provides academic coaching for students enrolled in workshops at A.C.E. Leadership High School, the South Valley Academy, and the Native American Community Academy! Visit our 21st Century Learning Centers page, for details on how to enroll in a workshop at one of these schools!

Join a Workshop

Working Classroom will not admit new juniors to an official college prep program in 2016. However, new students are encouraged to join a Workshop at Working Classroom!


We are always accepting donations for things like:

  • Scientific and Graphic Calculators
  • New USB/Thumb Drives
  • Pens and Pencils
  • College Ruled Paper
  • Kleenex/Facial Tissue
