Angel Pavia is Working Classroom’s 21st Century Program/Grant Manager who sets to provide quality out of school art programs and paid art opportunities to our local youth and high schools who may not have dedicated art programs. Angel Pavia has been involved with Working Classroom since 2008 and since has used all of his learning experiences with this organization to shape him into the artist, muralist and art activist he is today. His love for art has carried him to become a really strong mentor and strengthen his admiration to spread the knowledge of art to all of our youth. As a New Mexican born artist he has also been influenced and mentored by many other local artists/muralists and this has given rise to his unique style of art. His large scale art can be found all throughout the South Valley, Nob Hill area as well as Downtown. Despite his love for art, he also shares his heart with the field of Science, receiving his Bachelors of Science for Biology and Chemistry from the University of New Mexico in May 2019.
