Alex Ross-Reed, Guest Artist, engages multiple mediums such as video, installation, performance, and drawing to explore themes of gender, sexuality, and the body. In her work, Internal Committee, the fractured self is personified by multiple characters. They love, fight, vie for power, and seek wholeness. Teaching, social-political activism, and art making process are practices that inform her intersectional feminist lens. Alex Ross-Reed earned a BA at the University of New Hampshire, double majoring in Studio Art and Women’s Studies and completed her MFA at Vermont College of Fine Art.
